Principle:

This kit uses a one-step method to detect anti-TB IgG antibodies in serum or plasma. Purified recombinant Antía Geno specific TB is immobilized on the nitrocellulose membrane in the test line area and another TB specific AG colloidal gold conjugate is attached to the pad label. To perform the test, the sample is added to the sample on the test card. The sample flows through the label pad. If the sample contains TB IgG antibodies, the antibodies bind to the gold-coated Antía Geno colloidal gold particles to form Antia gene antibody complexes. These complexes move through the nitrocellulose membrane towards the test line area by capillary action and react with specific recombinant TB antigens to produce a pink color on the membrane. A second red control line will always appear in the result window, indicating that the test has been performed correctly and the test device is functioning properly. The control line will only be visible if IgG antibodies to tuberculosis (TB) are absent or below the detection limit of the test.
